As the Assistant Lead of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our global blockchain software solutions company. Your focus will be on securing strategic partnerships and cultivating relationships with key clients in the crypto, Web3, and institutional sectors. You will work closely with the Global Business Development Lead to manage a team of global business development representatives, develop and execute strategies that maximize revenue generation and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and partners within the crypto, Web3, and institutional sectors. Develop and implement strategies to engage and secure these opportunities.
Build and Manage Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and challenges, and position our blockchain solutions as the ideal answer to their requirements.
Collaborate on Sales Strategies: Work closely with the Business Development Lead to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead negotiations with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. Close deals that contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.
Represent the Company at Industry Events: Attend conferences, seminars, and other industry events to network with potential clients and partners, and stay abreast of the latest trends and developments.
Stay Informed About the Market: Keep a close eye on the evolving landscape of the blockchain, crypto, and Web3 industries. Understand the challenges and opportunities that arise, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide Market Intelligence: Share valuable insights and information about the market with the Business Development Lead and other relevant teams.
Contribute to Team Success: Work collaboratively with other members of the Business Development team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
The Successful Applicant Education qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in Business Development: At least 10 years proven track record of success in business development, preferably in SaaS or emerging technology industry. Demonstrated passion for and understanding of the Blockchain SaaS landscape is a plus.
Experience in managing a team: At least 5 years of experience managing cross-border team
