The Purpose of Role:- Manage the total company logistics, distribution and shipping for all Inbound and Outbound to deliver high customer service level at optimum cost and accountable for logistic cost savings achievement and improvement.Team Structure:- Reporting to: Warehouse & Distribution Manager, MYSG-- Direct Report: N/A- Key Responsibilities:- Warehouse and Logistics- Manage Third Party Logistic (3PL) warehouse and logistics operation.-- Drive Logistics Operations efficiency leading to improved service and savings.-- Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, space utilization and identify improvements.- Inbound- Manage Inbound containers and truck according to warehouse ability and planner requirements.-- Liaise with Planners and Supply Unit on improvement of efficiency and manage warehouse space.Inventory- Lead the Bi-annual stock counts in the warehouse.-- Manage day to day inventory operations in coordination with regional inventory and risk teams on proposals for write off and cycle count stock adjustment and take actions as per regional governance call.Outbound- Co-ordinate with customer service and quality teams to drive improvement in customer service level.-- Load planning for each container and trucks.-- Work closely with customers 3PLs, customers and Logistics team to improve loadability.Projects- Work on special projects related to warehouse and logistics to provide impact on gross margin and logistics cost.-- Co-ordinate with regional team for cross country projects and reporting/presenting on projects.Finance- Make provisions for ambient warehouse and cold chain operation.-- Manage rolling forecast for the year along with Finance team.-- Quarterly and yearly continuous improvement plan collaboration with 3PL.3PL and Vendors- Negotiate with 3PL on ad-hoc requirements and participate in vendor evaluation and selection process with procurement.Key Stakeholders:- Internal: Planning, Customer Services, Quality Assurance, Safety, Customer Development, Finance, Human Resources, Regional and Global team-- External: 3PL, vendors, shipping line, transportersTravel:- 20% of the time for travelling.Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistic/Transportation.-- 5 years' work experience specialized in logistics, warehousing, and distribution operation.-- Experienced in direct customer, 3PL relationship management and project management.Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:- Sound knowledgeable and familiar with Lean and Six Sigma.-- Sound knowledgeable and familiar with SAP/ WMS-- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.-- Well-developed people management skill.- How to Apply:
