Responsibilities:Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair of factory facilities, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimum operation and production continuity.
Planning and organizing maintenance schedules (preventive and corrective); delegating tasks & managing projects.
Supervising & overseeing the installation of equipment and ensuring maintenance/vendors follow safe work practices & maintain cleanliness.
Control maintenance budget as per planned budget.
Ensure all machines and repair maintenance compliance with legal and safety regulations.
Reporting, documenting, and submitting reports on budgets, progress, and time schedules.
Identify areas requiring extra maintenance work and troubleshoot.
Inventory management - ensuring spare parts, components, and tools needed for maintenance are always available.
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production and other areas.
Execute any tasks as assigned by superior as and when required.
Requirements:A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of managerial experience in the Maintenance Department of manufacturing industries.
