**Overview****The Assistant Manager - Administration and Human Resources **will serve the SIS Community under the direction of the Principal and Deputy Principal, with support from the SIS Administration Team and staff. The Assistant Manager works with school leadership, teachers, and staff to facilitate the smooth operations of the Principal's office, administration, operations, and human resources. The Assistant Manager's duties will be to first support the Directorate and Principal's offices with communications, organizing schedules, meetings and committees and serve as the first point of contact for stakeholders to reach the school's leadership. Secondly, this role will comprise of human resource duties that include but are not limited to, the on-boarding and induction of new staff, supporting expatriates in their transition from their home countries to Malaysia, and attending to staff welfare matters for all Sunway International School employees.**Requirements**:- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or any related fields.- At least 2 years of working experience in the field of Education, preferably in Academic Administration.- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.- Experience working with Human Resources management tools, and competency in Microsoft Excel and databases is preferred.**Job Functions and Responsibilities**Administration- Provide administrative support to the Principal and management of the Principal's office.- Act as a Secretary for committees that are chaired by the Principal.- Coordinate and manage events, including visits from external parties.- To be the first point of contact concerning school activities and operations that involve the Principal.- Ensure that school issues or problems are attended to and dealt with promptly and effectively.- To participate in events concerning partnership development and collaborations.Human Resources- Recruitment and Personnel Administration _- Coordinate the entire spectrum of recruitment and staffing for SIS.- Perform on-boarding and off-boarding for SIS employees.- Support expatriates in their transition from their home countries to Malaysia.- Administer staff welfare matters including staff insurance, medical claims, birthday gifts, etc.We thank all applicants for expressing their interest in this vacancy.
