Your TalentEducation:Bachelor's degree in business studies or relevant field.
Professional:Min 3 years in (buying/merchandising/business) planning, demand planning or product-related roles.
Industry: sports or lifestyle business.
IT Skills:Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of ERP.
Language Skills:English (Business Level); Local Language (Business Level).
Your MissionThe Assistant Manager, Category Planning SEA will be responsible for facilitating business planning tools, generating quality information, and providing operational support to the Category Merchandising team to achieve the company's business goals in accordance with the divisional KPIs.
Key ResponsibilitiesTask 1: Merchandising Planning Tools and Operational Support
Own and manage merchandising planning tools and database, including forecasting/visual range planning tools, sample portals, product line list, price maintenance, and division SharePoint.
Plan and align Order Placement Calendar, followed by actual launch date alignment based on shipment status.
Design, improve, and maintain new business solution tools.
Engage with stakeholders to provide necessary operational support when required.
Task 2: Business Analysis
Provide quality analytics on sell-in and sell-thru, range architecture, margin projection, and critical business reports via MS Office or PowerBI.
Continue to build a Merchandising dashboard for real-time business updates.
Generate regular reports on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
Research trends and competition for timely and comprehensive business planning.
Task 3: Financial Planning
Actively involve Finance, Planning, and Logistics teams for margin planning, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and inventory monitoring.
Task 4: Tradeshow Support
Take ownership of tradeshow preparation, including digital catalog maintenance, showroom setups, and sample logistics.
