ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESThis role covers responsibilities regarding GBS Malaysia and Pakistan inter-company recharges.
The job holder provides support to the Finance Manager during the monthly closure & reporting forecast exercise, mainly by intercompany invoices issuing and support and guidance to the Intercompany affiliates.

Geographic Scope:Selangor, Malaysia
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOROperationalQuarterly/monthly issuing of intercompany invoices for various types of recharges and correspondence with the Intercompany affiliates;
Drive the analysis and review of actual company revenues and ensure the accuracy of the financial data posted in SAP;
Ensure there are contracts/supporting documents in place for recharge purposes;
Support in external and internal audit engagement;
Support on analysis of the annual budget and SOPs financial information, obtain clarification where needed and prepare presentation summaries;
BPC input of intercompany transactions for both PL and BS;
Cash management both for forecast and actuals ensure cash flow accuracy and timely recovery of due amounts from intercompany vendors by doing constant follow-up; Involved in cashflow forecasting, BATCASH Reporting and hedging exercise.
Ensuring seamless business operations;
Perform monthly accruals calculation.
Ensure the accuracy of the financial data posted and actively monitor the accruals balance;
Ensuring creation of cost centres and work breakdown structures in line with business needs and BAT hierarchy;
Support provided to Corporate Finance Manager for underlying assumption analysis (allocation keys, cost by service line);
Establish and maintain a strong partnership with internal customers (other BAT Entities) by timely submission of required information and any requested details;
Periodic reviews of IC Receivables Balances, following up of aged balances escalating in timely manner;
Provide support and advice to other departments in GBS;
Perform ad hoc analysis as required for planning scenarios;
Reviews the accuracy and completeness of data received;
LeadershipAbility to work independently and in cooperation with all stakeholders and ensure the objectives are met on time, high accuracy and in full
Able to identify technical opportunities to improve, refresh ways of working to help deliver world class levels of performance
RelationshipEffective working relationships both within HR, Finance and any other members at global level involved GBS recharges
Given that only the major responsibilities are stipulated in the above paragraphs, the incumbent has the obligation to fulfil any other responsibilities entrusted to him by the higher hierarchical levels.
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?Do you have knowledge in SAP applications?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEAt least 4 years of finance/accounting experience in global FMCG industry.
Possess high potential, strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP etc)
Good command of English in verbal and written communication.
Effective communication skills, mentor and leadership skills and extremely dedicated.
An ability to work with all levels within the organization & experience in managing senior stakeholders.
Capable of analyzing financial impact and providing insights to business strategies also understanding of strategy and financial management processes.
Able to demonstrate the need for, and ensure implementation of, appropriate systems and controls.
Able to drive projects and process improvements and handle a remote customer base model
Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance.
Professional accountancy qualification i.e.
CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA will be an added advantage.
