Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise demand & supply planning team in sourcing & demand management activities and oversee daily activities of the team & provide guidance as needed.
Build & maintain good relationships with packers / vendors & key suppliers. Negotiate pricing & control costs with packers.
Identify & take action to purchase materials focused on providing better quality & cost optimization.
Identify & resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders, reallocating existing inventory & establishing safety stock parameters.
Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
Coordinate with the logistics team to monitor & maintain optimal inventory levels in the warehouse.
Identify demand forecast risks for total SDGIP & SDGIN & develop effective mitigation plans.
Analyze & troubleshoot demand & sourcing related issues in a timely & accurate manner.
Actively participate in the coordination of cross-functional activities to ensure that the supply of raw materials & finished goods in each refinery/packer is sufficient based on demand forecast.
Schedule forecast review meetings with the commercial & production team on a regular basis.
Develop demand plan for SDGIP & SDGIN based on business trends & demand patterns.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Degree or post-graduate qualification in Demand/Supply/Marketing/Business.
Minimum 5 years in demand planning and sourcing roles in oils and fats products or FMCG.
Computer literate is a must.
Able to work independently.
Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Good knowledge of sales operations.
