Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Group Finance, Affin Bank in the role of ERP Finance and Cost Analyst. This position plays a critical role in optimizing operational expenditures (OPEX) through insightful analytics and supporting our ERP finance system to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
Cost Analytics and Management:
Analyze operational expenses (OPEX) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track OPEX performance and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on cost management strategies and outcomes.
Center of Excellence ERP Finance:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the ERP finance system, understanding its functionalities and configurations.
Support day-to-day operations of the ERP system, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and user support.
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing to ensure optimal performance and usability.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the ERP system as part of a center of excellence (CoE) approach.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
Proven experience in financial analysis, cost management, and/or ERP system administration, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
