Assistant Manager, Field Operation

Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
Facilitate implementation of promotion grids.
Ensure understanding of promotional activities and objectives by field team
Ensure point of sale materials are maintained at stores.
Check sufficient stock levels during promotional periods and track daily call targets of field team
Ensure generic, store-specific planograms and category flows are implemented/maintained
Ensure shelf-health is implemented and maintained.
Provide feedback to clients on slow/fast sellers and recommend appropriate actions to achieve sales targets
Check in-store pricing, prevent out-of-stocks, order prompting and stock pressure to drive sales targets achievements
Ensure forward share is equal with market share.
Provide regular feedback to clients on forward share changes
Inform field team of new innovations and track speed to market, stock in distribution centers, negotiate new/existing listings in stores, etc.
Monitor feedback platforms usage (e.g.
manual tracking, SMART, etc.)
and provide feedback to field team
Provide clients with reports/insights on competitors' activities, promotions, product recalls, pricing, planograms and new innovations
Liaise with customers/clients on stock pressure, stock holdings, new innovations, special deliveries, category flows, planograms, relays, etc.
Attend review meetings with clients
Job Requirements:
Strong leadership skills, energetic, highly motivated and customer oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and coach.
Demonstrate experience in fast moving consumer goods, field sales and marketing.
Demonstrate numeracy and quantitative analysis skills.
Proven competency to handle confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner.
Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English.
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g.
Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably individuals specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
