To support the Finance and Accounting Department in ensuring effective financial management and compliance in the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities include the following:
-Oversee and manage the preparation of the full set of accounts, including reconciliations for companies under the Group.
-Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, monthly management accounts, and sub-reports.
-Ensure compliance with MFRS, SST, and Malaysian tax regulations in financial records.
-Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate outputs.
-Ensure all accounting records are complete and accurate, and regularly check for compliance with internal standards and external requirements.
-Monitor cash flow, budget performance, and prepare financial forecasts. Report directly to the Head of the Finance and Accounting Department.
-Assist in online banking transactions and approvals.
-Review and approve monthly journal entries, payments, and other key financial processes.
-Ensure adherence to internal control processes and risk management frameworks.
-Liaise with other departments in procurement and logistics management, supplier and contractor management, project cost management, proceeds management, and other related areas.
-Assist in strategic planning, including cost analysis and optimization initiatives.
-Manage relationships with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
-Support the Head of the Department in group financial reporting, group financial forecasts, project financial models, project cost monitoring, merger and acquisition financial models, tender and bidding financial reviews, and other tasks.
-Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in finance operations.
-Support ad hoc assignments and reporting as required by senior management.

; Requirements:-
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as MIA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
-A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
-Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, SQL, or Sage UBS).
-Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit practices.
-Experience in group consolidated accounting.
-Experience in accounting and financial management within the Renewable Energy Industry or Construction Industry is a significant advantage.
-Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-Required anguages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (for communication and reporting with the China holding company).
-Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
