Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:Financial ReportingPrepare and analyse a full set of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsOversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, general ledger entries, and cashflow managementAnalyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to managementEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controlsCollaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reportingPerform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as neededAccount ReceivableCoordinate effort with sales and customer service teams to arrange collections activities to maximize cash receipts by sending statements / reminder letters to clients and following up to ensure prompt payment.Provide customer service regarding collection issues, perform customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice & CN issuance to customers and customer portals.Assist month-end reporting by producing accurate sales report, sales journals and sales reconciliationsReview aging report and analyze account history to determine the appropriate action necessary for successfully handling aged debts and skipped or partial payments.Communicate with team lead and local business unit Controller regularly and follow up on identified action plans on aged debts or customer disputes.Review credit terms and credit limit for new and existing customers.Continuous ImprovementContribute to the development and implementation of positive change in the AR function in the Company.Leverage on use of technology and implement cost-neutral process enhancementsSKILLS & EXPERIENCEThese are minimum-requirement skills and a 'must-have' for the role: (If any, otherwise you can skip)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Previous experience in financial reporting, accounts receivable, or related roles.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.BENEFITSWork-Life at #TeamTeleportHot desks - On site work with flexible workspace arrangement and provide you with a change of scenery maybe in a quiet area.Unlimited training -You will have access to a wide range of learning resources including Notion!Ditch the Suit & Tie - Be comfortable as you are, express your inner Fashionista… as long as it's not a birthday suit!Vacation and time away - Sometimes you need to recharge and come back energized!
