Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivatedAssistant Manager, Human Resourcesto join our HR team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & StaffingPosting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Collaborate with department Manager to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing relevant documentation.
Maintain and update the talent pool and assist in creating job descriptions for open positions.Employee RelationsAct as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, grievances, or concerns.
Address employee concerns promptly and work to resolve workplace conflicts or issues.
Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication and encouraging employee engagement.
Assist with organizing and conducting employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to drive improvements.Performance ManagementSupport the performance appraisal process, ensuring employees are evaluated fairly and according to company policies.
Assist managers in setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
Help develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
Monitor performance trends and provide guidance for further development opportunities.Training & DevelopmentCoordinate employee training programs and workshops to enhance skills and performance.
Identify training and development needs through employee feedback, performance evaluations, and departmental goals.
Track training attendance and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Support career development initiatives to help employees grow within the organization.Compensation & BenefitsAssist in administering employee benefits programs.
Ensure accurate processing of payroll and timely resolution of payroll-related queries.
Maintain records of employee compensation and benefit plans and assist with annual benefits enrollment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws regarding compensation and benefits.HR Administration & ComplianceMaintain accurate employee records, ensuring that all HR documents are up-to-date and in compliance with legal requirements.
Assist in the preparation of HR reports, including turnover, absenteeism, and employee performance data.
Ensure the organization complies with labor laws and company policies, and assist with HR audits as needed.Employee Engagement & RetentionHelp develop and implement employee engagement programs, including team-building events, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs.
Monitor and evaluate employee satisfaction, providing feedback to management to enhance retention and morale.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee retention and growth.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related role, preferably with some experience in HR management or leadership.
Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and INFO-TECH software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges.
Experience in the automotive and/or service industry is a plus.
