Objectives of the position:Responsible for the local delivery and execution of core HR services in accordance with organization's principles, corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations.
Performs a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with company policies.
Plan, organize, schedule and implement the HR daily activities independently in manufacturing sites.
Support the implementation of all HR strategies.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human resources.
Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Represent the business unit in collective bargaining with the worker's union.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key ActivitiesHR Business PartneringPartner with site management team to resolve people issues and challenges.
Responsible in overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, employee development, remuneration and industrial relations topics.
Develop pragmatic local HR solutions to cater for business needs and improve employee engagement via common or tailor-made approaches.
Communicate all HR related changes to employees.
Conduct annual plant level performance calibration.
Understand employee's training needs and work closely with Learning & Development team to provide the relevant training.
Foster talent management for key employees and cross-functional talent exchange.
Ensure effective succession planning for key positions.
Work closely with line managers to manage disciplinary issues in line with the Company's policies & guidelines.
Represent the business unit in collective bargaining with the worker's union.
HR OperationsAct as point of main interface with Shared service centre & other relevant internal stakeholders, to ensure smooth internal HR processes & implementation.
Ensure SAP data related to payroll is up to date all the time to avoid payroll errors.
Ensure all employee data in the system is up to date.
Ensure all HR operations are fully in line with HR policies/practices, local laws and regulations.
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, attrition, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
Maintain monthly headcount report for Regional Operations.
Prepare all necessary letters for plant employees.
Handle SOCSO and fit to work cases together with Company appointed Occupational Health Doctor.
OthersHR representative and focal point for business audit, customer audit, government audit and other projects.
Implement all Regional HR initiatives in the sites.
Organize recognition and appreciation programs.
Establish strong partnership with worker's union representative and ensure transparent understanding to build mutual trust.
Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee attrition.
Assist Regional HRBPs with all HR topics and initiatives (diversity, recognition, skip level, empowerment, etc).
RequirementsDegree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or similar.
Min.
5-8 years' related experience.
