Develop and maintain IR/ER policies, processes and tools at all levels of the organization. Custodian for all IR/ER policies and procedures to ensure compliance by all stakeholders. Default investigating officer in resolving serious or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Lead grievance process and management by working together with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) by providing advice and guidance in handling complaints, a ddress employee's grievances and conflicts through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies within the stipulated timelines. Offer guidance and support for any disciplinary matters while ensuring that the company's actions comply with labor laws employee contracts, and internal regulations. Responsible for monthly management reports on IR and ER related metrics Oversee and manage the continuous maintenance and updating of terms and conditions of service, HR policies, guidelines and manuals to ensure compliance and accuracy. Employee Relations (ER)
Responsible in creating and implementing ER related programs to ensure good relationship between the employers and employees. Advise others on the proper procedures for carrying out communication, briefing, negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment related matters due to regulatory mandated changes, etc. Qualifications Degree in Human Resources Management or related studies Minimum 7 years in a similar capacity with specialization in Industrial Relation matters and experience in managing Collective Agreements for unionized employees High proficiency in spoken and written English language and Bahasa Malaysia. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, project management and organisational skills, Well-versed with Malaysia Labour Laws such as Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Unions Act 1959, Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Act 1991, Social Security Act 1969, Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), etc. as well as industry trends and current issues together other prevailing HR practices and legislation.
