Assistant Manager, Internal Audit (Pharmaceuticals)

Job ResponsibilitiesAssist the Internal Audit Manager in planning and executing audit activities.
Develop audit programs and assess risks to ensure timely completion of assignments.
Execute audit assignments, compile work papers, and draft audit reports.
Conduct end-to-end walkthroughs to identify risks and control gaps.
Provide audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls and optimise processes.
Track the implementation of management's action plans and perform follow-up audits quarterly.
Maintain effective professional relationships with auditees and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry policies, accounting developments, and relevant laws.
Handle multiple assignments and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Internal Audit Manager.
Leverage experience in Enterprise Risk Management as needed.
QualificationsHolds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIA) are a plus.
Has at least 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit.
Capable of working independently and leading a dynamic team.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and effective time management abilities.
Demonstrates initiative with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Exhibits strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Able to extract meaningful insights from data and reviews.
Proficient in English with strong report writing skills.
Experience in Enterprise Risk Management is a valuable asset.
