This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure both vendor relationships and fleet operations align with our company's goals.Your Day-to-DayVendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and select vendors, ensuring alignment with company requirements and standards.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, regularly evaluating performance and addressing concerns to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.Fleet Operations and ManagementPlan, organize, and oversee day-to-day operations of the company's fleet, including vehicles and equipment.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to comply with safety regulations and optimize performance.
Develop and manage the fleet budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Recruit, train, and supervise fleet personnel, ensuring a high level of performance and safety.Asset and Resource OptimizationMaintain accurate records of fleet assets, including vehicles, equipment, and their maintenance histories.
Implement strategies to maximize the lifespan and value of fleet assets, minimizing downtime and unnecessary expenses.
Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in both vendor and fleet operations.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with transportation regulations, permits, and licensing for fleet vehicles.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and fleet operations.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and liabilities.Your Know-HowBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Proven experience in vendor management and fleet operations.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in vendor management and fleet tracking software/tools is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of transportation regulations and fleet maintenance best practices.
Experience in dealing with PUSPAKOM is an added advantage.
