ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the KLK OLEO Global SAP team, the role includes but is not limited to SAP MM, SD, and WM modules in terms of design, analysis, development, documentation, testing, and support work related to the module.
Strong knowledge and understanding of MM, SD, and WM (compulsory) and integration with different modules.
1. SAP Support
Provide first and second-level global SAP support, inclusive of the monitoring, tracking of incidents and service/change requests in meeting service-level obligations.
Escalate critical issues/problems to management or Application Management Services (AMS) for prompt technical, resolution and development.
Act as liaison between business users and technical team for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve SAP-related problems.
2. Change Request
Prepare, review, and consolidate change requests for new developments/enhancements to ensure a standardized and harmonized process.
Perform implementation of best practices, improvements, and new/change requests from users and ensure conformance with the change process.
Execute more complex prototyping/configuration and testing of new business solutions based on dedicated business requirements while ensuring quality assurance.
3. Projects
Responsible as module team lead for the roll-out implementation of SAP global and regional projects, integration projects, enhancement, and small local Projects.
Leading a team of internal and external consultants in the entire project life cycle implementation, from blueprinting, designing, building, configuring, testing the SAP solution, training key users, and performing system rollouts until post-go-live support.
Participate in the implementation and rollout of other IT projects, guiding external and internal team members to ensure the adherence to KLK OLEO SAP ERP prototype and system integrity, according to agreed deliverables and deadlines.
Manage and execute any other ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by the superior.
Execution of studies in the preliminary stage of projects including evaluation of solutions.
4. Team/People Management
Act as subject matter mentor to junior team members.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate actions to drive productivity and efficiency.
Identifying training and skill development needs for the team.
Communicate regularly to immediate superior on projects, CRs, and support status.
Able to communicate complex contexts convincingly to the stakeholders within the organization and build stable relationships.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
SAP implementation/rollout/support experience with at least 3 full cycles of related modules delivered.
Hands-on with the related configurations and able to deliver and govern high-quality work for Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specifications Documents (TSD).
Strong knowledge of data conversion tools and data conversion methodology.
Good knowledge of authorization objects, roles & profiles.
Strong understanding of ABAP coding (debug skills).
Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP integration.
Understanding process manufacturing and business processes is an added advantage.
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Demonstrate fluency in the local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in designing and configuring SAP modules.
Certified SAP Professional and experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
S/4 HANA (upgrade, rollout, or support) experience is an added advantage.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Self-motivated, team player, fast learner, able to work with minimum supervision.
Ability and willingness to travel oversea and local (with own transport) within Klang Valley.
