Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key clients, representing as the voice of the customer internally and responding promptly to commercial inquiries.
Cross-sell and up-sell existing and assigned clients to grow our share of wallet.
Utilize data and trends to provide intel to customers via market updates.
Analyze data and trends to provide insights for strategic decision making.
Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, warehouse, and transportation to ensure smooth execution of logistics processes.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and improve service delivery.
Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively, striving to find satisfactory resolutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders.
Find and/or follow up on commercial leads and close new leads.
Maintain end-to-end relationship with assigned clients, including contract renewals and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain accurate records of commercial activities in a CRM or equivalent.
Perform any other tasks, developments, and growth opportunities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
2 – 5 years' experience in logistics and forwarding roles, with a focus on international transportation.
Minimum Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation and Distribution, or equivalent.
Knowledge or experience in customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping practices.
Experience in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Positive working attitude with pleasant interpersonal skills.
Good time management skills and ability to multitask.
Customer-oriented and a team player.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
