**Maintenance Engineer**The Assistant Manager Maintenance (Electrical) holds an important role for the company's proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of daily machine and utility issues, working collaboratively with the Manager to prevent breakdowns. This position ensures strict adherence to written work instructions and procedures, maintaining consistency with ISO9001/GMP requirements.**Key Responsibilities**:**1. Quality Monitoring and Issue Resolution**:- Monitor and maintain the quality of produced films, collaborating with relevant personnel to investigate and resolve quality issues.**2. Follow-Up and Supervision**:- Follow up with Supervisors/Shift in charge on corrective and preventive actions taken.- Supervise and ensure the effective performance of subordinate supervisors in their respective job functions.**3. Housekeeping and Machinery Oversight**:- Uphold high standards of housekeeping.- Oversee the proper handling, rectification, and identification of machinery parts.**4. Engineering Planning and Coordination**:- Plan and coordinate engineering works with the Engineering and Planning Department to minimize downtime.**5. Team Building and Leadership**:- Build a cohesive team through coaching, mentoring, specific training, and performance evaluations.**6. Engineering Improvements**:- Implement engineering improvements on machines to enhance reliability.- Identify, formulate, and implement effective solutions to emerging problems.**7. Technical Expertise**:- Conduct engineering calculations to support maintenance and troubleshooting activities, from the aspect of mechanical, electrical & electronics (PLC).**8. Equipment Maintenance and Safety Compliance**:- Maintain equipment and systems in compliance with safety and environmental standards.- Manage a preventative maintenance program, optimizing scheduling to minimize downtime.**9. Equipment Design and Vendor Liaison**:- Design and install new equipment.- Modify existing equipment as needed.- Identify sources for equipment and liaise with suppliers as required.**10. Reporting and Troubleshooting**:- Report project and maintenance status to relevant stakeholders.- Troubleshoot equipment not meeting specifications and take appropriate corrective actions.**11. Team Leadership and Oversight**:- Lead and supervise the team in installing and maintaining production machines and facilities.- Oversee regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.- Manage simple machinist duties and responsibilities within the team.**12. Technical Expertise and Problem Solving**:- Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production machines.- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments as necessary.**13. Compliance and Safety**:- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.- Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to proper supervision.- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.- Uphold company safety procedures and standards outlined in the safety manual.**14. Continuous Improvement and Safety Leadership**:- Drive engineering improvements for energy savings and minimizing machine breakdowns.- Lead the engineering team to enhance work safety and improve work quality.**Requirements**:- Possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or related.- Minimun of 5 year working experience in related manufacturing industry.- Demonstrate proficiency in engineering drawings and strong analytical skills.- Knowledge in wiring, drive, drawing & PLC.**Working Conditions**:- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 6:15 pm.- On-call availability for any ad-hoc machinery breakdown on rest days.At Stenta, we value innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
