Assistant Manager/Manager, Logistics & Depot (Chilled/Frozen Food)

Job Description   Negotiate with 3PL cold chain transporters and external warehouse storage quotation and review in quarterly basis base on market trend to strive lower delivery cost.
Liaise and co-ordinate with logistic companies to ensure smooth operations and delivery of goods to customers to achieve OTIF KPI Target.
Perform depot management to ensure optimum stock level and order fulfillment.
To guide and coach the new personnel on their operation duties.
Perform cold chain quality management and audit to ensure no cold chain break in delivery, depot, 3PL facilities, and distributor storage and practice high hygiene standard.
To maintain in good condition the depot and equipment provided by the company.
To implement operations policies, procedures, safety & regulations.
To ensure documentations, report & market and customer intelligence are channeled to the relevant departments on a timely manner.
To build strong internal and external relationship in order to solve customers' complaints & problems through understanding and negotiations.
Review and monitor daily last mile delivery operation to increase truck load utilization and engage with sales team to improve order for low utilization route to achieve cost saving.
Cooperate with Plant first mile logistics team to ensure timely delivery to depot and distributor in order to ensure meeting last mile delivery KPI target.
To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Qualifications   Degree holder of any business disciplines Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Resilient in challenging circumstances and acts with integrity and a high sense of commitment and passion
