Assistant Manager/Manager, Marketing (Cosmetic Product)As a Marketing Manager specializing in the cosmetics/personal care category, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness within the cosmetic/personal care category in drugstores/pharmacies. Your role will involve creating effective marketing campaigns, managing product launches, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Familiarity with the cosmetic industry and knowledge of skincare, personal care, beauty products, and trends will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote cosmetic/personal care products within drugstores/pharmacies.
Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences, trends, and competitor analysis.
Define target customer segments and develop marketing plans to effectively reach and engage them.
Collaborate with the senior management team to establish marketing objectives and budgets.
Create and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital platforms, print media, in-store displays, and promotional events.
Craft compelling messaging and visuals to communicate product benefits, unique selling points, and promotions effectively.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
Collaborate with creative teams, agencies, and vendors to develop marketing materials and ensure brand consistency.
Coordinate product launches, including planning, promotion, and merchandising activities.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product information, samples, and promotional materials.
Develop visually appealing and informative displays to showcase new products and drive customer engagement.
Monitor product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to adjust marketing strategies and improve product assortment.
Work closely with the supply chain department to ensure proper inventory management and product availability.
Collaborate with the operations team to execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market research findings.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing strategies and achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in the cosmetic/beauty/personal care/FMCG industry with exposure to marketing management.
Must have a good foundation and understanding of branding and product management.
Able to work in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.
Equipped with strong leadership skills and passionate about managing a team.
Ability to deal with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
