About the role The Assistant Manager - Marketing supports the Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and enhance the customer experience across all retail locations.
This role involves coordinating marketing campaigns, analyzing consumer behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of retail initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager - Marketing, you will be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: ? Campaign Management: Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including in-store promotions, digital marketing, and social media.
? Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive activities.
Provide insights to inform marketing strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.
? Event Coordination: Support the organization and execution of in-store events, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
Ensure all materials and logistics are in place for successful events.
? Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials, including signage, brochures, digital content, and advertisements.
? Budget Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring that all campaigns are cost-effective and within the allocated budget.
? Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and are effectively executed at the store level.
? Customer Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and engagement through personalized marketing efforts, loyalty programs, and customer feedback initiatives.
? Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors, including print shops, event organizers, and digital marketing agencies, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
? People Management: Manage a team of marketing executives/coordinators To succeed in this role, it will be good to have: ? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field ? 2-4 years of experience in retail marketing, with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns.
? Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
