Manage inventory, including procurement, stock control, and waste reduction, ensuring cost-effective availability of medications.
Prepare and maintain readiness for hospital accreditation processes (e.g., MSQH, JCI, ISO) and ensure compliance with inspections and audits.
Provide expert clinical support, including prescription review, discharge counseling, and patient education to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Lead specialized pharmaceutical services such as antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and chronic disease management programs, collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
Propose innovations to improve services, efficiency, and patient outcomes to contribute to the pharmacy department's strategic goals.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering professional growth through training programs and performance appraisals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's/ Master Degree in Pharmacy.
Postgraduate specialization (preferred)
Valid practicing certificate and registration with the relevant professional board (e.g., Pharmacy Board).
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy (specific years can be tailored).
Demonstrated experience in leading or participating in hospital accreditation processes such as MSQH, JCI and ISO.
Proven leadership, communication, and training skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
