Job Summary
Manage and assist the HOD to lead the communication division by strategising, planning and executing all content writing for media releases, exclusive interviews, project collaterals and other write-ups required from time to time.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor direct reports in the communications division.
Recommend communication strategies and media plans for stakeholder management issues; and work with the HOD to implement these communication strategies and plans.
Update the Management on pertinent changes, trends and issues within the Penang stakeholders' landscape; including alerting Management on potential stakeholder-related threats/opportunities to the Company.
Manage content writing for media releases, interviews, advertorials and other write-ups required from time to time to position the projects favourably in the public realm.
Manage and produce project-related content for speeches, slides, reports, letters and others for internal and external use.
Update project content for the project's website and monitor content production for social media accounts.
Work with other departments or stakeholders to produce and deliver content on projects.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company.
QualificationsBSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field.
Skills & AbilitiesProven work experience in Communications / Public Relations or similar positions.
Solid experience coordinating successful PR campaigns with quantifiable ROIs.
Expertise in diverse social networks, including Facebook and Twitter.
