**Responsible For**- Oversee the activity of the quality assurance department. Developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements.**Role Objective**- Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; determining system improvement; implementing change.**Summary of Key Responsibilities**- Implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System by Developing SOP and Manual; compliance of all documentation and certifications for internal and external customers; managing traceability system; and guidelines to ensure QA program is being properly implemented.- Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the company in line with ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP & HALAL certification.- Perform internal QA audits that are compliant with Quality management system policies, practices, and procedures.- Establish and maintain a QA Program for monitoring supplier quality and performance, including audits, controls, evaluation, and other qualifiers.- To be the lead person for mock recall to ensure the traceability system is in place.- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety standards and legislation.- Manage customers' queries and complaints as well as corrective and preventive action programs.- To lead the pest control, incoming material inspection and cleaning/sanitation for the plant.- Maintain a constant awareness of company profitability, including budgetary control issues.- Lead, guide and motivate QA personnel to have total commitment and involvement in all quality improvement programs implementation to achieve company goals and objectives.- To act as food safety team leader if team leader is not around.- To assist the superior in completing any specific assignment as and when necessary.**Summary of Key Requirements**- Strong knowledge with practical experience in Food Safety Management System e.g. ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, HALAL etc. standards, procedure and implementation.- Possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal department.- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good cultural understanding, establish good working relationships and structured, results oriented, positive, proactive, takes ownership and with strong sense of urgency and integrity.- Conversant in MS Office.- **Qualification**:Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Biological / Nutrition or equivalent.- **Years of Experience**:Min. 5 years working experience in quality assurance in food manufacturing industry.- **Job Specializations**: Food Safety Management System, Halal Awareness, Trouble Shooting, Problem Solving.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to Friday
