Assistant Manager, Strategic Research Institute & Quality ManagementThe incumbent in this role supports essential administrative functions to optimize the operations of the Strategic Research Institute (SRI) and Quality Management. The role involves working closely with the Director of SRI and the Director of Quality Management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate meetings and joint activities like Global Week, and update records for SRI's projects, publications, and citations to meet yearly targets.
Regularly update the SRI website with the latest information and research, support peer review for JATI and EJBM journals, and analyze the IRN map for relevant universities and research institutions.
Organize and coordinate meetings with universities for joint publications, support discussions with key researchers, and maintain records of meetings and collaborations.
Track tasks and projects from IRN meetings, arrange regular reviews with partner universities, and keep records of publications and research outcomes.
Maintain an up-to-date database of publications and citations, and analyze Scopus, MyRA, and IRN data to track trends and suggest improvements.
Assist in setting KPIs for publications, citations, and conference proceedings, aiming to improve QS rankings and MyRA scores.
Support the preparation of monthly reports on publications, citations, and IRN activities for analysis and decision-making.
Help compile and gather R&D achievements for an electronic magazine highlighting APU's research impact, particularly from SRI-led projects.
Lead the university's participation in SETARA, MyQUEST, and MyRA exercises, developing and implementing strategies to improve ratings, and collaborating with faculty and department heads to gather data and evidence for these assessments.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for submission to the Ministry of Higher Education, while staying updated on any changes or requirements related to these rating systems.
Requirements:
A PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
A strong understanding of research and quality management principles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders.
