OVERVIEW
Recruitment
Responsible in ensuring the right talent are hired for suitable positions according to schedule in addition to ensuring effective management of all recruitment related matters, including constantly positioning and branding Hartalega as an employer.
Ensure recruitment and selection of suitably qualified local employees on a timely basis and in accordance to established procedures and practices.
Monitor activities undertaken by the recruitment team for efficiency and effectiveness and identify areas for continual improvement.
Keep abreast of recruitment and selection best practices.
To develop and implement resourcing strategies to fulfil forecast demand for recruitment and attrition.
Collaborate and work closely with external parties including head hunters, recruitment agencies, universities etc. to engage, attract and building network to reach out to potential talents.
To take the leading role in identifying opportunity to build the Hartalega's brand name as employer of choice.
Employer Branding
Developing & implementing short-term and long-term recruiting strategy and sourcing channels to facilitate quick time-to-hire across job grades.
Leveraging latest trends in hiring methods to attract potential talents and meet supply and demand.
Analysing seasonal recruiting success and internal reports/ analytics to determine the effectiveness of sourcing channels and recruitment plans; advising Recruitment Shared Services on the hiring direction.
Exploring effective recruitment tools (e.g., psychometric tests, personality test, IQ test etc.) to be utilised in sourcing the right candidate to ensure quality of the candidates being hired.
Establishing, managing and reviewing partnerships with recruitment agencies, universities, colleges, polytechnics, vocational schools, etc.
Organising and/or participating in networking events to ensure to build consistent and sustainable talent pipeline.
Designing and updating to employee on referral program and assess effectiveness of referral program.
Promoting Graduate Readiness Internship Program (GRIP) for long term recruitment plan.
Working with stakeholders to define number of interns and graduates required in the financial year and identifying which colleges/universities source the best candidates based on stakeholder's requirement.
Preparing and accounting for annual recruitment budget including contract with external parties, recruitment event and accounts for recruitment platform based on agreed activities and Company guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management/ Organizational Psychology/ Business Administration.
Minimum 7 years' of relevant experience including 5 years in recruitment strategy, preferably in manufacturing. MNC exposure will be an added advantage.
Providing direction and guidance to subordinates in aligning to organizational objectives Complying with governing bodies requirements e.g., Malaysian Labor Law#J-18808-Ljbffr
