Excellent communication skills, problem solving, multitasking and time management.
Should have excellent leadership, administrative, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Overseeing the entire garment manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production runs, maintaining quality standards, meeting delivery deadlines, and managing the workforce on the factory floor, all while optimizing costs.
Adhering to safety regulations.
Planning production schedules, coordinating with different departments like design and quality control, assigning tasks to supervisors, monitoring production progress, addressing issues on the line.
Ensuring smooth operations to achieve production targets.
Make sure production runs smoothly.
The job involves planning, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing processes.
As an Assistant Operation Manager, you need to make sure that the costs, quality and number of goods are correct.
Maintain the productivity levels in sewing.
Technically sound to set up & start a new style in the shortest possible time.
Maintain monthly cost.
On-time shipment, rescreening of shipment by style.
Cost effectiveness of plant/unit.
Profitability and capacity enhancement.
Maintenance (of defects).
Handle labour issues, security & administration of unit.
Control surplus and wastages.
Shipping quality merchandise and avoid claims.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Handling all types of production issues, section by section coordination, and especially focusing on the sewing and finishing section.
Dealing with garment mills, vendors and buyers for product improvement.
To foresee production bottlenecks and quality problems and troubleshoot them.
Flowing supplier's final piece-by-piece garment checks and ensures conformity with the buyer quality requirements.
Prepare a schedule and plan the daily work and delegate the work depending on the workload and priority requirements.
Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance and making sure that product and procedures are on time and of good quality.
Responsible for bulk approval, bulk production, coordination, and sampling.
To lead the whole production and manufacturing process.
Day-to-day production plan to meet customer delivery date, implement and focus on customer requirements.
Get the raw materials, design and size in place for manufacturing.
Checking the raw material quality.
Hiring and training the staff on usage of machines.
Supervising the work done by the workers.
Making sure that the manufacturing of garments adheres to all safety and quality standards.
Checking the safety equipment like the knob of machines to make sure they are working well.
Checking the finished product and making sure there are no flaws or defects.
In case there are any, you will have to get them rectified immediately.
Getting the garments packed as per the company's standards.
Coordinating with vendors and ensuring the shipment of the garments.
You will also keep a check on unshipped clothing and make arrangements to get them out at the earliest.
