Assistant Operation Manager (Garment Industry)

Job ResponsibilityOverseeing the entire garment manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production runs, maintaining quality standards, meeting delivery deadlines, and managing the workforce on the factory floor, all while optimizing costs.
Adhering to safety regulations.
Planning production schedules, coordinating with different departments like design and quality control, assigning tasks to supervisors, monitoring production progress, and addressing issues on the line.
Ensuring smooth operations to achieve production targets.
Planning, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing processes to ensure costs, quality, and production quantities are correct.
Maintaining productivity levels in sewing.
Being technically sound to set up & start a new style in the shortest possible time.
Maintaining monthly costs.
Ensuring on-time shipment and rescreening of shipment by style.
Focusing on cost-effectiveness of the plant/unit.
Enhancing profitability and capacity.
Maintaining quality by handling defects.
Managing labor issues, security, and administration of the unit.
Controlling surplus and wastage.
Shipping quality merchandise and avoiding claims.
Carrying out any other tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.
Handling all types of production issues, coordinating section by section, especially focusing on the sewing and finishing sections.
Dealing with garment mills, vendors, and buyers for product improvement.
Foreseeing production bottlenecks and quality problems and troubleshooting them.
Ensuring supplier's final piece-by-piece garment checks conform to buyer quality requirements.
Preparing a schedule, planning daily work, and delegating tasks based on workload and priority.
Effectively following up on materials inventory, production processes, quality standards, and team performance to ensure products and procedures are timely and of good quality.
Being responsible for bulk approval, bulk production, coordination, and sampling.
Leading the entire production and manufacturing process.
Creating day-to-day production plans to meet customer delivery dates while implementing customer requirements.
Arranging raw materials, designs, and sizes for manufacturing.
Checking the quality of raw materials.
Hiring and training staff on machine usage.
Supervising workers' activities.
Ensuring that garment manufacturing adheres to all safety and quality standards.
Checking safety equipment, such as machine knobs, to ensure they are functioning properly.
Inspecting finished products for flaws or defects and rectifying any issues immediately.
Ensuring garments are packed according to company standards.
Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely shipment of garments and monitoring unshipped clothing to expedite arrangements.
Job RequirementsCandidate must have a Diploma/Degree in the related field.
Experience in the garment industry is preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
Strong leadership, administrative, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
