Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Managing Distribution Center daily operations : Overseeing day-to-day logistics of a company, including transportation, storage, and distribution.
Ensuring on-time delivery : Monitoring the movement of goods and ensuring they are delivered to customers on time.
Managing inventory : Ensure return goods from customer is handover properly to Production/Cold-room team. Reduce operating stock in the Cold-room. Managing slow moving and deadstock.
Optimizing supply chain : Developing and implementing strategies to efficiently distribute goods and optimize the supply chain process. KPI Day of Sales.
Analyzing performance : Analyzing and reporting on logistics performance metrics.
Ensuring compliance : Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Liaising with others : Working with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.
Supervising staff : Coaching, training, and supervising the logistics workforce. Spearheading new staff training, as well as employee development plans. Monitoring the performance of the staff and addressing areas for improvement.
Handling documentation : Handling import and export documentation, and coordinating shipping documents. Creating and updating documentation of all department processes and policies.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, along with relevant experience in logistics or a related industry.
Added advantage if previously from DC/logistic food company background.
Minimum of 5 years and above in DC/logistic experiences.
Working hours 5am – 3pm, Saturday half day.
Must have experience managing more than 10 lorries/trucks.
Must have managing warehouse experiences.
Must have D license.
