Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturing company.
Our esteemed client is seeking a qualified professional to join their team as Assistant Product Manager.
This role will be based in Selangor.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing function and strategy at the country level.
This individual will act as a supporter and creator, working closely with the respective Country or Regional Commercial teams to drive growth and brand performance.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a supporter and creator at the country level, working closely with the respective Country or Regional Commercial team.
Support the Integrated Marketing Plan for the Country Marketing function, including Brand, Social Media, Retail, and E-commerce.
Prepare and align yearly growth plans for the market to achieve brand and category performance based on market inputs.
Consolidate management reports and analyze Brand Health performance, Category performance, market share, product, and pricing information.
Work closely with Finance, Associate Business Director, and Country Marketing to track and monitor A&P spending in the markets.
Be the point of contact and knowledge centre for any matters from Headquarters, Zone, and local markets/countries.
Support the Senior Product Manager in executing Market Research, advertising, trade marketing, NPD, e-commerce, social media, and Foodservice programs, trade events, and other activities as required.
Enhance the company's online presence in Malaysia through effective social media strategies and campaigns, increasing brand awareness and engagement.
Drive new product development at the market level in accordance with local and global NPD direction and approval procedures.
Manage all consumer inquiries.
Work on special assignments as assigned by the Senior Product Manager.
Job Requirements:
Degree holder in Business, Marketing, or related fields from recognized universities.
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar or relevant capacity, preferably in FMCG or a similar industry.
Strong communication skills; ability to influence effectively at all levels, with proficiency in multiple languages such as English, Mandarin, and any local languages.
Independent, highly self-disciplined, action-oriented, with strong innovative and analytical thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel overseas as needed.
Basic knowledge of Nielsen Discovery, SAP, and Photoshop is an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
