Assistant Production Manager

Responsibilities: Work with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
Analyse costs and prepare budgets.
Plan workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
Oversee production to resolve issues.
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.).
Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
Ensure output meets quality standards.
Regulate health and safety precautions.
Report to upper management.
To assist in production planning and scheduling.
Manpower allocation and overtime scheduling.
To ensure smooth and effective operation within company.
To manage the service and maintenance to all equipment and machine as per maintenance plan.
To ensure the factory area clean and hygiene.
To ensure product conformance to quality.
Recommendation of continuous improvement for quality function.
Responsible for personal hygiene.
To present a proper and regular reports to the management.
To perform any other duties as directed by the management.
Actively participate and contribute to Food Safety and Quality.
Requirements: Proven experience as production director.
Solid knowledge of production management.
Familiarity of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
Excel in MS Office and ERP software.
Excellent communication ability.
Outstanding organizational and leaderships skills.
Good attention to detail.
Exceptional decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred.
