As anAssistant Project Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of design, fit-out, and maintenance operations.
Working closely with the Project Manager and the team, your main responsibilities include:
Supervising site activities and ensuring the smooth execution of site development projects from start to finish.
Assisting the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Managing and liaising with suppliers, contractors, and designers to ensure quality deliverables.
Overseeing project budgeting, including sourcing suppliers, evaluating costs, and ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.
Ensuring that all outlet development projects are completed according to quality standards and project timelines.
Leading the design process, from initial concept to detailed design, ensuring all aspects of the project align with the overall vision and business requirements.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and specifications to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Coordinating with mall management, local authorities, and franchisees, if any, to resolve any operational issues during renovations.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure that each project completes on time and meets operational expectations.
Developing and leading the team to implement strategies for improving preventive maintenance standards.
Managing project documentation, including progress reports, letters, and other essential project paperwork.
Reviewing and approving project invoices related to outlet development and maintenance expenses.
Providing detailed progress updates to senior management through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Job RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in related industry.
Technical Skills:Proficient in MS Office.
Experience with project management tools and software is a plus.
Leadership:Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage, motivate, and guide a team effectively.
Communication:Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Adaptability:Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Travel:Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for the role.
Positive Attitude:Energetic and proactive, with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to drive project success.
