Assistant Qa Manager

Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop & implement quality policies, procedures, plans & programs to ensure product conforms to customer specifications & requirements.
Responsible for plant-wide QA function including incoming quality control, in-process quality control, outgoing quality control & process audit.
Interact with customers to understand quality requirements & ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage customer complaints & ensure timely feedback to customers on the CLCA.
Develop & manage suppliers to improve incoming quality.
Define Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
Set quality objectives, present and review the KPI in Management Review meetings.
Liaise with production & engineering to resolve in-house quality issues and seek long-term corrective & preventive actions.
Authority and responsibility for corrective action to ensure that nonconforming products are not shipped to customers and that all potential nonconforming products are identified and contained.
Implement & monitor the effectiveness of SPC and ensure all PIC attend SPC training.
Initiate & drive continuous quality improvement plans and Six Sigma Projects.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Material) or equivalent.
Knowledge in FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE, and 8D problem solving.
Able to interpret drawings and GD&T.
Working experience in IQC, IPQC, OQC, Calibration, and related job functions.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
At least 5 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
