Job ResponsibilitiesDeputy to QA Manager and act as QA Head of Department in the absence of QA Manager and to recommend objectives and strategies including short - and long-term plans in the implementation and coordination of the Company's policies on GMP with the view to maximize Quality Assurance and adherence to International Standards at all times and that the Company's Standards are never compromised.
Formulate and be in charge of a system for the recording, evaluation and processing of customer complaints on product quality.
Assist in coordination for Company Self-Audit program.
Provide in-process QA quality improvement and support for other QA activities in quality inspection and GMP.
Specific authority shall include to approve or reject the incoming material related for former, packaging material during incoming, intermediate and finished products and to certify all sterile and non-sterile products, including work in progress, finished products and packaging materials.
Supervise daily duties of the QA Executives and QA Supervisors of QA Operation (Incoming, In process and Finished process).
Participate in management decision on Company's policies and practices pertaining to the Company's Quality Assurance.
Plan, implement and maintain quality improvement program and encourage personnel to contribute and actively participate in these programs.
Liaise with manufacturing personnel and production executive on specifications, complaints, quality problems, CAR etc in addressing corrective / preventive action for continuous improvement, including follow up to verify effectiveness of action taken.
Report on the performance of the quality system to management with executive responsibility for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
Assist in reviewing the HIRARC assessment for the QA Operation activities to comply with OH&SMS Performance Responsible for Company's Policies and Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 13485 & ISO 9001.
Responsible for Safety's Policies and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS), ISO 45001.
Responsible for Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System (EMS), ISO 14001.
Job RequirementsMinimum Diploma holder.
Preferable with Degree in Rubber / Polymer Technology or Science or any other equivalent field of study.
At least 5 years' managerial experience in a high-volume and sizeable manufacturing environment.
Reliable and hardworking with proven good employment track record.
Excellent leadership, problem solving, integration and interpersonal skills.
Able to build a strong culture of teamwork and align departmental goals to the Company's strategic objectives.
Working knowledge of best manufacturing practices including lean manufacturing is added advantage.

With a growing market demand, KOSSAN has invested another WSM plant in Jalan Meru in year 2013.
The plant was commissioned with 9 new production lines with a monthly capacity of more than 31.5 million pairs of surgical gloves.
The plant has obtained ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 13485:2012 Quality Management System (QMS) and CMDR and ISO Class 8 in 2013.
As at today, there are more than 400 well-trained employees in WSM.
