Assistant Resident Engineer (Are) M&E

Assist the Resident Engineer in performing the contractual duties on site.Assist the Resident Engineer in the management and direction of a team of Engineers and Inspectors for the supervision of the construction of the designs.Assists the Resident Engineer in reporting on progress, safety, financial recommendations, and quality control and design modifications.Builds a trusted relationship with the management team and with the client's counterpart staff.Leads the supervision of mechanical electrical works and the review of associated contractor and vendor submissions.Assists the Resident Engineer in liaison with power authorities and helps facilitate approval of contractor submissions.Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors.Places an emphasis on safe construction practices (Target Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Leads by example in driving safe practices on site.Assists the Resident Engineer in monitoring progress of construction against the programme, and takes steps to ensure the programme is achieved.Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the supervision works and monitors it for improvement. Cooperates with audits required in accordance with the contract requirements and CH2M HILL's internal systems.Contributes to the safety and build-ability reviews of the proposed designs.Evaluates, selects, and adapts construction management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered.Ensures that the Construction Supervision team members effectively identify manage and report project risks.
