Assistant Restaurant Manager Trainee (Black Canyon Seremban)Assist Restaurant Manager in restaurant's sales level and profitability with the following:
Perform daily closing and tally sales records to ensure consistency and accuracy
Perform bank deposits after ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial transactions
Provide daily reports to Finance (cash sales report and credit card settlement report etc.)
Ensure that all online delivery platform is up to date and running smoothly
Provide any other ad-hoc reports as per requested by Finance
Ensure purchase order, stock request, stock take, stock transfer out, good receive and discrepancies are accurate, up to date and on time
Assist Restaurant Manager to manage Restaurant Crew:
Ensure all Restaurant Crew comply to safe food handling procedures
Evaluate adequacy of manpower and when required, interview, hire and train new restaurant crew to work in different positions at the restaurant while maintaining good morale and teamwork
Formulate work schedules on a weekly or monthly basis & outline each Restaurant Crew's work duties
Keep a detailed record of all leave taken by staff and submit it to the HR department
Prepare and submit documents of newly hired crew to the HR department
Provide any other ad-hoc reports as per requested by HR department
Engage customers in positive dialogue, collect customer feedback – take and resolve any complaints from them to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
Be proactive and inform your superior if any issues arise with suggestions to resolve the issue.
Perform restaurant opening and closing activities.
To ensure all stocks are up to date, well kept & fresh / FIFO.
Organize management of repair and maintenance issues / Preventive maintenance.
To ensure the upkeep of all equipment in the restaurant.
Assist in the kitchen for preparation and cooking.
Oversee day to day operation and ensure smooth operation on the restaurant.
Assist Restaurant Manager in achieving better KPIs like productivity & sales, maintain healthy retention rate, labour cost, food cost and abide within QA/QSC standards.
Excellent team player and people oriented.
Ensure safety and cleanliness in workplace.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in Culinary / Hospitality or relevant working experience.
Priority will be given to those from the F & B industry with 1 – 2 years' experience.
SPM with 2-3 years' experience in F&B will be considered.
Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, dependable, good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be willing to relocate when needed.
Must be disciplined in terms of punctuality and time management.
