**MAIN SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB**:Under the general guidance and Supervision of the General Manager and within the limits of established corporate office and hotel policies and procedures, oversees day-to-day sales and marketing efforts and functions of the Sales & Marketing & Public Relations for maximizing the revenues from the Rooms and Banquet Sales by planning and implementing the sales & marketing plan towards the determined goal.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:1. To be responsible for Rooms and Banquet sales and marketing with such resources deployed as sales staff, public relations, advertising and promotions.2. To produce sales and marketing plan to achieve the revenue target set by the management.3. To implement the action plans and review it on daily, weekly and monthly basis in order to adjust the sales and marketing activities to effectively cope with the market trend and changes.4. To ensure the most suitable organisation structure for effective business development to achieve the predetermined goal.5. To set the hotel's sales & marketing policy and objective, in co-ordination with the management, to project the corporate/product image in line with the company's philosophy and mission statement.6. To constantly review the existing systems to organize and implement effective sales systems and procedures that ensure efficient execution of all programs and functions.7. To plan and execute sales trips to major market areas as needed for further business development.8. To ensure complete awareness by all sales staff of competitors' activities as well as our own products at all times by organizing a series of periodical training.9. To analyze market charges with the subordinates and decide to implement programs to meet these changes.10. To disseminate sales related information to other departments as appropriate.11. To conduct weekly sales meetings to review the market situation and discuss action to be taken.12. To co-ordinate with other departments for developing new programs13. To conduct a daily morning briefing with direct subordinates14. To meet with all influential clients to communicate to receive their feedback in regard to client needs, as to remain in touch with the market.15. To recommend new products to the general manager for developing additional business opportunities.16. To maintain a high level exposure of the hotel in major market areas through all possible means vehicles and opportunities.17. To review all reports from the subordinates, stipulated in the policy and procedures for timely actions.18. To monitor and update contractual agreements.19. To review and update credit facilities for the accounts.20. To ensure the Sales Administration coordinate the timely and efficient collation of weekly and monthly sales reports.21. To review the staff's "Reader Files" on monthly basis to ensure effective communications abilities.22. To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.23. To establish and maintain effective employee relations.24. To maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotels guests, clients, staff and employers.25. To maintain a professional business confidentiality.26.
