Assistant Vice President - Group Internal Audit

The Job: Manage the performance and completion of technical and / or projects audit specifically as related to construction projects.The incumbent may carry out administrative, operational and special tasks such as review of policies & procedures related to project such as PMM, tender, risk & control assessment.Communicate audit observations effectively through accurate presentation and disclosure of material items and timely circulation of report.Ensure documentation for audit work are in order, accurate and reliable in serving the objective of audit and compliance with the standard.Follow up with clients on all agreed action plans, validate and report overdue items until the matters are resolved.Develop and enhance audit plan/program/documents for each audit engagement assigned thereto. Perform other responsibilities assigned by Chief Internal Auditor.The Incumbent: Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Project management or any other project / construction related qualification.  Professional qualification such as CIA will be an added value.At least 7 years of working experience in Internal Audit, Project Management and / or property development industry, with 3-5 years of supervisory role  .Possess knowledge of internal audit standard, risk management and corporate governance  .Eye for detail with skills in audit analytics, system controls, security, investigation, presentation, time, and project management. Able to comprehend business risks and issues and align with corporate strategy, communicate and provide cost-effective solution and promote continual improvement.
