Full Time Assistant Video Editor in WP Kuala Lumpur, Earn up to MYR 4,000Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a professional or agency environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video editing styles and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, YouTube, and internal presentations.
Trim, cut, and arrange video footage, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and visual continuity.
Add sound effects, background music, voiceovers, and audio mixing to create a balanced and immersive video experience.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storylines, and scripts for video content.
Enhance the story by selecting appropriate visuals, sound, and effects that complement the message and brand identity.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to develop engaging video concepts.
Create and integrate motion graphics, animation, and special effects into videos to enhance storytelling.
Ensure that the video's visual effects align with the overall tone, style, and branding of the project.
Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to add and edit visual effects.
Perform color correction and grading to ensure the video has a professional, polished look.
Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and other visual parameters to enhance the video's overall appearance.
Edit and mix soundtracks, voiceovers, and sound effects for clarity, balance, and consistency.
Ensure audio levels are optimized and synchronized with video content.
Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure the video content meets the project's vision and goals.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions as needed to meet expectations.
Maintain clear and timely communication with team members regarding project timelines and requirements.
