Job Purpose
To assist Branch Manager in implementing branch sales strategies to achieve branch's sales objectives & goals.
The Job
Establish initiatives to meet Sales Strategies
Ensure business retention and New Business Development
Promote organic growth from existing agents & customers and support continuous recruitment of new agents
Full responsibility of credit control & premium collection
Provide training to agents and other intermediaries, and constant social engagement with corporate clients
Conduct risk inspections before acceptance
Accept & underwrite risks within authority limit & guidelines
Obtain market intelligence and work with customers on risk management
Adhere to AMLA provision & other relevant compliance matters pertaining to OACM & the Great Eastern Group policies & be vigilant to uphold these in the discharge of any duties
Work with other stakeholders as required by the Company
Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
The Person:
Degree in any discipline or insurance qualification e.g. CMII, AMII or DMII
Experience in sales or marketing; preferably in Financial Products and agent management
Good command of the English language (both spoken and written)
High level of integrity, takes accountability for work and good attitude towards teamwork
Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
