Associate, Claims Project & Governance (GETB)Job Summary:
Assist team managers in ensuring good governance and managing risks across the department, ensuring compliance with Local, Regional, and Group policies.
Communicate and implement claims guidelines, along with Local & Group policies, as well as regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with claims team and other stakeholders on both IT and non-IT projects to deliver customer-focused business initiatives while ensuring policy-compliant claims operations.
Support the preparation of business requirements specifications as per claims business needs.
Assist in the execution of user testing for business system deployment within agreed timelines.
Job Description:
Assist supervisors in managing and tracking user-driven IT projects from inception to system deployment for the business.
Participate in product briefings or discussions as required.
Prepare requirement specifications for IT developers and assist with reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when necessary.
Provide training or briefings to the team on any system enhancements deployed to production and update process change documents.
Maintain best practices, guidelines, and training materials for claims operational procedures.
Support the Claims team in governance matters, monitoring policy adherence, identifying breaches, and assisting with mitigating actions.
Conduct periodic gap assessments and risk evaluations related to policy requirements and assist in closing any identified gaps.
Manage quality reviews and reporting for the Claims team, including presenting results and action plans.
Handle inquiries related to Compliance, Risk Management, Group Audit, and external audits, and facilitate relevant reviews.
Perform data extraction and qualitative reviews of claims trends, identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability on a regular basis.
Provide secretariat support for relevant claims governance meetings.
Qualifications:
Degree in any discipline.
Insurance professional qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant field.
Fresh graduates may be considered.
Basic knowledge in Takaful/Insurance.
IT literate (Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence Tools).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills.
