Associate Director - Advertising Sales KEY RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY The major accountability of the Associate Director – Advertising Sales is to improve the revenue growth targets by keeping the Company competitive and innovative.
This person will be responsible for maximizing the Company resellers potential and developing quantitative strategic sales plans.
This person is required to work very closely with resellers and with media agencies.
Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing resellers Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that monetisers companies AVOD service and Viu Original production Work closely with production team and marketing teams to come out with opportunities for monetisation Will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to sales, using different techniques as and when required.
Must have a deep understanding of digital sale Performance Standards: will be measured and judged on achievement of revenue targets, profitability, the quality of deliverables and on activity levels SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Minimum of 5-7 years Sales experience, preferably within digital sales environment and demonstrate success in growing revenue Passionate customer focused attitude Proven record of over achieving sales targets Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills Excellent negotiation and rapport building skills Good business acumen Strong drive and ambition Team player Resilient, determined and able to work under pressure Target focussed and money driven Good organisational and time management skills Sense of humour with a positive attitude Potential to develop to Sales Manager Requirements Requirements: BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong business sense and industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
