Associate Director, Private Equity Investment (My)

About Our ClientOur client is an Asia investment house headquartered in Singapore, managing a portfolio of over US$100 billion, focused primarily in Asia with a biased towards Private Equity.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role, based in Malaysia will be responsible in uundertaking origination, evaluation, structuring and execution of private equity and mezzanine capital opportunities. Provide support in the management of existing private equity and mezzanine capital portfolio. Market and screen investment opportunities in Malaysia. Carry out industry and business analysis and financial modelling. Support in the structuring of deals and investment terms. Conduct operational, financial and legal due diligence. Help prepare investment proposals. Assist investee companies (when needed) in operational, financial and other business matters.Job RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:- Good degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance preferred- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in private equity or corporate finance (M&A) with a strong network in Malaysia.- Experience in covering Marine & Ports, or Technology, or Life Sciences and/or Infrastructure sectors highly preferred- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills- Meticulous, committed, team player and able to work under pressure- Independent and a matured individual
