We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Associate, Electrical to join our dynamic team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. In this role, you will contribute to various mechanical engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Approves and signs off on work.
Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Participates in development of technical proposals.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Provide specialized technical input for electrical studies and designs Develop and implement efficient study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality work Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals Utilize expertise in all stages of completing discipline-specific components of assigned work Perform thorough quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements Collaborate with team members to optimize electrical designs and improve overall project efficiency Stay updated on industry trends and innovative electrical engineering practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field A minimum of 8 years engineering experience in related fields Proven experience in electrical design and engineering projects Strong technical expertise in developing study and design procedures Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Experience in cost estimation and technical effort projections Demonstrated ability to perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings Excellent skills in preparing technical specification sections Knowledge of engineering budget and schedule development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in electrical engineering practices Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
