Marigold is hiringFull Stack C#/.NET Engineersto join its fast-growing engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. The C#/.NET Associate Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting Marigold's cutting-edge Engage+ platform, a market-leading enterprise solution used by major brands in North America, Europe, and Asia. Marigold's Engage+ platform processes and analyzes billions of transactions per day on a .NET platform backed with SQL Server. The .NET Associate Engineer will work closely with Marigold's product management and quality assurance teams on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical foundation in C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and APIs. The ideal candidate should also have an aptitude for quality and a collaborative mindset to learn and contribute while working closely with team members. A high level of motivation is required for this position. A desire to learn and discover new things is a must-have.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and support Marigold's .NET applications and RESTful web services by writing efficient, maintainable code to meet requirements and adhere to security standards.
Focus on the implementation and testing phases of the software development lifecycle.
Investigate, analyze and address reported defects in a timely manner.
Deliver technical documentation for use by customers and partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum A- GPA, from a top technical university.
Ideal candidates have experience programming in C#/.NET and writing T-SQL.
Basic understanding of core relational database concepts (ideally with Microsoft SQL Server).
Familiarity or experience building or integrating with web services (REST, SOAP), APIs, JSON, XML is a plus.
Basic knowledge of multi-tier web application design.
Familiarity or awareness with Cloud Technologies (ideally with AWS).
Pass a strict criminal background check and provide strong references.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.
Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical documentation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
