Job Description The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely financial services to appropriate Business Unites for which the team is responsible.Manage completion within deadlines for all monthly financial statements & reporting functions in accordance with Group processes and policies. Group reporting packages include Actuals, CSR, Tax Packs, CCE, CBCR and etc)Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and statutory financial controls including external/internal audit and FMC requirements.Manage external audit, corporate taxes, GST, Withholding Taxes, statistical surveys and other statutory reporting matters, including liaison with relevant external parties.Build and manage relationship with agencies and other SSC teams.Provide advisory support and guidance for any accounting & taxes matters to agencies and other SSC teams.Support collaboration within Groupe and agencies which include agencies integration, legal entities reduction, Post month end & Balance Sheet Review and etc.Assist management on continuous improvement projects as appropriate that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.QualificationsExperience/Qualifications3-4 years post qualification and commercial accountant experienceBachelor of Accountancy or ACCA equivalentMinimum 2 years of accounting experience in Malaysia marketWith Malaysia GST, Tax and audit experienceExperience in advertising or media industry will be advantageousKnowledgeKnowledge of accounting standards and tax requirements.Skills (including technology)Experience in using accounting systems and reporting packagesExperience in Hyperion reporting is preferredStrong working knowledge of ExcelExperience in analysis of data and reporting compilationPreferably able to speak and read Malay languageAttributes/behaviours Ability to provide accurate and timely financial services functions.Ability to work independently and provide reporting within tight monthly deadlines.Ability to multi-task across competing demands of internal teams, Business Units and external parties.Require an emphatic and practical person who pays attention to details and yet can view the bigger pictureThis role requires the ability to multi-task across competing demands.
