Overview
The Key Accountabilities are, but not limited to:
Manage completion within deadlines for all monthly financial statements & reporting functions in accordance with Group processes and policies. Group reporting packages include Actuals, Tax Packs, CBCR, etc.
Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and statutory financial controls including external/internal audit and FMC requirements.
Manage external audit, corporate taxes, GST/SST, Withholding Taxes, statistical surveys and other statutory reporting matters, including liaison with relevant external parties.
Build and manage relationships with agencies and other SSC teams.
Provide advisory support and guidance for any accounting & tax matters to agencies and other SSC teams.
Support collaboration within Groupe and agencies which include agencies integration, legal entities reduction, Post Month end & Balance Sheet Review, etc.
Assist management on continuous improvement projects as appropriate that may arise on an ad-hoc basis undertaken in that role.
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications:
3-4 years post qualification and commercial accountant experience.
Bachelor of Accountancy or ACCA equivalent.
With GST/SST, corporate tax and audit experience.
Experience in advertising or media industry will be advantageous.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax requirements.
Skills (including technology):
Experience in using accounting systems and reporting packages. Experience in Hyperion reporting is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Excel. Experience in analysis of data and reporting compilation. Preferably able to write & speak fluent in English and read Malay language.
