In this role, you will contribute to various mechanical engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Provide specialized technical input for mechanical studies and designsDevelop and implement efficient study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality workParticipate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goalsUtilize expertise in all stages of completing discipline-specific components of assigned workPerform thorough quality control reviews of design calculations and drawingsPrepare detailed technical specification sections for mechanical systems and componentsContribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirementsCollaborate with team members to optimize mechanical designs and improve overall project efficiencyStay updated on industry trends and innovative mechanical engineering practices
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldA minimum of 10 years engineering experience in related fieldsProven experience in mechanical design and engineering projectsStrong technical expertise in developing study and design proceduresProficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorksExperience in cost estimation and technical effort projectionsDemonstrated ability to perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawingsExcellent skills in preparing technical specification sectionsKnowledge of engineering budget and schedule developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality workExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentInnovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in mechanical engineering practices
