The Associate, Procurement drives the assigned procurement operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of Savings Tracking, Service Line (Category) management analysis, Management reporting packs, and sourcing events support.
Job Responsibilities:
Source and procure equipment, spare parts, consumables, and services essential for the Company's operations.
Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Coordinate tasks of the purchasing department (Assist mega project compliance to deadlines, budgets, and quality of goods).
Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Liaise with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
Provide updates on order status and delivery timelines to stakeholders, HOD & DSP.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, order statuses, and vendor performance.
Update procurement databases and systems regularly.
Maintain and monitor purchasing policies & SOPs.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics.
Job Requirements:
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Supply Chain, or other related field.
Possesses at least 5 years of IT procurement experience, specifically in software and system.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Highly skilled in conducting market research and comparing prices from various vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Experience in sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and equipment for construction sites will be an added advantage.
Ability to resolve disputes related to purchase orders and agreements.
